Last week I needed to look up the breakthrough time on some gloves and I found a website that I think is worth sharing.  The University of Florida’s EHS website has links to many of the main glove manufacturers’ compatibility charts.  As a note some of the links appear to be .pdfs so make sure you have the latest information from these manufacturers.  Also, I was unable to find the breakthrough time for isopropyl alcohol on MJs glove…

I Can’t Tie-off There…

How many times have we been told…I can’t tie-off there.  My response is always, “Yes you can, we can figure it out.”  Here is a great example of “Yes you can” from Capital Safety / DBI Sala.  Make sure you have the correct Fall Protection gear for this system, wear the standard Harness and Lanyard you will hit the ground due to fall clearance.
